Wakanda coming apart from the inside. An insurgency, a legitimacy crisis, and a king who is good at being a superhero and considerably worse at being a head of state.

Reading this straight after the Priest collection was the right accident. Priest treats Wakanda as a state that outmanoeuvres everyone. This one asks whether the people living in it ever consented to the arrangement.

It reads like political theory with capes attached, which is both the appeal and the complaint. The pacing is slower than superhero comics usually allow.
