A short story rather than a novel, part of a six-piece collection built around the same prompt about the future.
The premise is a casino upgrading to quantum computing to secure its keno draw, and the couple who work out that the fix runs the other way. It is a heist built entirely on one technical idea, which is the author’s usual mode compressed into about an hour.
Slight, and it knows it. Worth the hour.
